Directed by Roland Emmerich Written by Emmerich and Harold Kloser starring John Cusack 158 minutes
--------------------------------------------
Went to watch 2012 Movie last 11.16 at Festival Mall Alabang after work. I though that only few people will watch the movie that day since its Monday, most are at work and want to go home early, but I was wrong. While on our way to buy tickets, I was shocked with the long line of people at the ticket booth. We went inside 15 minutes before the movie started since we don't want to have a hassle of finding a good seat.
I arrived at the movie with high expectation because of how my friends gave nice feedback to it. And so I watched, then I got bored and tired. If you think of the cutting-edge CGI special-effects technology then the ticket is worth it because its really, really good. But the storyline were unbelievably bad, just can't be taken seriously. I mean, first, how does Jackson Curtis (John Cusack) manages to escape using a limo with every peril thrown at him, crazing and cracking behind him at Los Angeles streets and even manages to avoid giant fireballs? Then here comes the boyfriend of the ex-wife, who is both a surgeon and a rookie pilot who can flew a plane like a pro.
The film's scenes were even recycled over and over again and there are so many illogical scenes, like why does the Indian scientist and his family can still have a cellphone service even though a giant Tsunami is already hurling towards them and destroyed most major cities? How about the proximity of explosions and the massive eruption at the Yosemite? It should have killed them all, right?
Sucks!
Awful, bad acting, bad directing and bad scene.
Well, its an okay film if you haven't seen movie like this before. But if you did, its a waste of time and money.
OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE Muntinlupa Alabang Town Center Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa Philippines
---------------------------------- My friends and I ate here last 1o.31. Actually, dining here was not the first plan but since Lera hasn't tried eating at the Outback, we decided to pay a visit. One thing I like about the place is the casual and relaxing ambiance. And of course I love the food, lots of choices, generous serving portions and great service.
Here are what we ordered :
Ribs on a Barbie
Ribs smoked and grilled over the open flame. Served with Aussie Chips and coleslaw.
This was the first food that I've tasted way back and up until now, it never failed me. It has this fall of the bone tenderness with tasty sauce which perfectly blend together.
Alice Springs Chicken
Grilled chicken breast and bacon smothered with mushroom, melted cheese, with honey mustard sauce. Served with Aussie Chips.
The size is just right, i love the melted cheese. Very appealing for those who love white meat.
Typhoon Bloom
Basically, this is their version of onion rings. Served with mayonnaise horseradish sauce.
My friends ordered this one coz I'm not into onion ring, I tried it though. It has this distinct taste from ordinary onion rings, i guess its the Outback seasonings as per menu says that made the difference.
------------------------------ After the dinner and before going home, we just went outside and took shots from new SLR of Paulo.
I just got off a 2-day rest from work but I still feel exhausted. Last Thursday, I went to Hidalgo in Quiapo to buy a camera but unfortunately I didn't find the one I was looking for. Most of the cameras that I saw are DLSRs, sigh. I went to Quiapo because most of the people I know recommended the place for buying cameras. They said that stores have more cheaper price but I was really disappointed not finding what I want. The stores have limited point and shoot cameras, most are professional cameras and camera accessories.
I was roaming around the area for about 2 hours and left at around 5pm then decided to to to SM mall of Asia hoping that I could find it there. Guess what? I was not able to find one either grrr.
Up until this time, I am still checking on where I can buy the camera. Maybe I'll have to search for online retailer or seller like ebay.
Okay, I know that I have so many things to share since I didn't have any interesting posts for this past few weeks. As what I had written in my last post regarding pictures, well, its still on going, uploading and collating pictures, and want to share some of it.
Pictures are taken last Thursday which was November 05, 2009. I joined APACNOC group, my co-workers, in their paintball game. I didn't have any picture with all gear and stuff because we were so excited to play and the administrator of the game won't allow us to wander around with a gun.
I really had so much fun. Thanks guys for the invite.
Been blogless (new word I guess) for 3 weeks and still can't find time to write a good post. I am so busy collating and uploading pictures this past few weeks. Doing uploads in 3 different websites, why? Well, I am just too afraid to lose my valued moments and I need to have at lease 2 sites for backups, plus I need to keep it all in order so I know when, where, who, what and how.... freak me.
" Intimacy is a four syllable word for here is my heart and soul, please grind into hamburger, and enjoy. It's both desired, and feared. Difficult to live with, and impossible to live without. Intimacy also comes attached to the three R's... relatives, romance, and roommates. There are some things you can't escape. And other things you just don't want to know. I wish there were a rulebook for intimacy. Some kind of guide to tell you when you've crossed the line. It would be nice if you could see it coming, and I don't know how you fit it on a map. You take it where you can get it, and keep it as long as you can. And as for rules, maybe there are none. Maybe the rules of intimacy are something you have to define for yourself. "
My friends and I went to watch G-force movie at the Festival Mall here in Alabang. I arrived earlier than them and did not bother whether I waited too long for them to arrive because I was preoccupied by trying to unlock the security code of my cellular phone. Eventually I got frustrated of not able to guess what are the combination of it, grrr up until this moment I still don't have any idea on how will I unlock it. Anyhow, back to what I am talking about, after meeting up, we decided to eat dinner at Kenny Rogers. We ate as fast as we could, to be able to start the movie on time. The plan of watching the movie was last September, we first saw it on trailer and we were looking forward in watching it. Excited! Yes! Well, I totally enjoyed watching the film, its not as bad as what reviews were. The plot is simple and direct which is obviously for kids. The Guinea pigs look very cute, the animation so realistic that I even forgot that its only a CGI and imagined myself owning one that will do the same.. haha! Satisfied!

Hate it! And I was last Wednesday :( I lost my phone while I was doing grocery! I am not sure whether I dropped it somewhere or someone took it. So sad, I had that phone for about 3 years and I never had any plan of replacing it up until now that I have no choice but to buy a new one.
My friends told me that its really time for me to change my phone and to get rid of it since its like an old age already. Gotta think, and decide whether to buy a cheap phone or the more expensive one.
"I'm facing you Winfrey right now. You are one of the biggest names in show business and I'm facing you. It's like… I'm not allowed to be here but I'm here. And I thank God for that" ArnelPineda said as he was interviewed by Oprah at her show last October 5, 2009.

I borrowed the latest book of Bob Ong from a friend a month ago but never had a chance to finish it. I already started reading few chapters but had lost interest or just too lazy to read after going to work. I like this author. I read 4 of his books. I never knew Bob Ong until in 2005, my housemate told me to read ABNKKBSNPLAko?!. Got interested with it because basically the title is interesting and then got hooked up when I started reading it, then read another book then another. Whats good about his writing is he cleverly hide in a joke the flaw of our society but make us see how serious it is.
Hopefully, I'll be able to finish the book this coming rest day... sana hindi ako tamaan ng katamaran..
Everyone can read this but not everyone can appreciate it this is where I transform my own essence into words my thoughts my rants my feelings it may be Simple or it may Freak you out
