** Lost my 3-year old phone, grrrr I miss it so much
** Was able for see my dad's picture after more than 10 year, thanks to the power of facebook!

Sinangag Express
President's Avenue Branch
79 President Ave., BF Homes ParaƱaque

-----------------------------------------
Recently, I discovered SEx, oh yeah, that is how they call it. Its a very affordable yet delicious open air small restaurant here at the South. My co-workers introduced this and since I love eating tapa, I tried it.

This is a must try tapsihan, it looks like the common tapsihan but wait until you taste it. The tapa is great, satisfying. Another thing that I love about this place are the servers, very accommodating and the place is clean and well ventilated.

Cyempre, most of their meals are "silog" and they are open 24 hours, which is really really nice. But going to the place is so inconvenient, too far from main road. Overall, for me they have reached their mission.

Check out their website for their branches.

~ very affordable, at less than Php100 for a meal ~

I just had cleaned my room this morning before going to work, so many mess and so my things to throw. Its been a while since I cleaned my room, and yes there had been so many dirt! ewww I know, but what can I do, I had no time for a whole day cleaning.

I am also pleased with my Christmas tree, it is so nice. Combination of green and gold, plus the lighted houses surrounding it. So excited, oh I can feel the Christmas, yippee. I don't have a picture yet, will post it once I took a picture of it.

take care,

I'm now on my second week in the night shift and my body is still adjusting. Migraine keeps on hitting and it really hurts. I only have like 5 to 6 hours a sleep in a day and I think its killing me. OMG, I have to wait for another 4 weeks before the rotation, so this is a month of suffering. And oh yes, I'm gonna work on New Years Eve, thank God that can render my holiday leave on Christmas Eve. At least, I have the whole day to spend with my family.

I haven't had any chance of buying gifts and I know that I should be purchasing them as early as now, huh, but I have no time. I don't even have time to go to a salon, grrr. Busy, busy, busy days.

Pancake House

1/L Cinema Alabang Town Center,
Alabang-Zapote Rd.
Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila

-------------------------------

My friends and I ate at the Pancake House in ATC before watching New Moon. We actually bought ticket first for the last full show then went to the restaurant to eat dinner.

I love this restaurant since I have had dine-in way back. I already tried every flavor of their pancakes and, as always, it never failed my taste buds. They have been around for quiet sometime now and still they maintained the quality of their food. The service is impressively fast, and servers are friendly so far, in every branch I ate at.

Sharing some pixies...

Classic Savory
Ground floor Festival Mall,
Alabang Muntinlupa

----------------------------------

After work last Friday, we had a late lunch at Classic Savory which is newly opened in the mall. It was established in 1950 in Escolta, started out as a panciteria and with a different taste of their specialty, savory chicken, where they became famous.

I actually haven't tried this restaurant even though it was born a long time ago. So, since I am really curious and it is so appealing, and was starving at that time, then why not try it.

~ menu looks classic, check out the picture at the top of it, chicken which looks really yummy~

~ paper placemat which tells the story where it begun ~

~ Half Classic Savory Chicken - Php 175 ~

But of course, since this is my first time to eat here, I need to taste their oh so famous chicken. When it was served, I thought that it is just the same with other chicken, presentation is like the ones in Max. But I was wrong, the taste is different, and I like it a lot. There is a distinct taste that makes it so yummy.

Just grabbed this picture from multiply of Lera and did some editing on it. This was taken at NLOS where Lera and Paulo celebrated their birthday. I really had a good time. Happy Birthday again.

This is it, my last day in the morning shift for this year. I'll be back in graveyard tomorrow which is Sunday. So that means, I'll be a monster again! Sigh! I hope that the workload at night won't be that much, its really hard adjusting body clock from used to be sleeping at 9pm to waking up and dragging my feet out of bed at 5pm then squeezing your brain to function till 6am.

Anyhow, I am so thankful that my vacation leave for the holidays was approved. Yey!

Enjoy your weekend guys!

Sizzling Pepper Steak
3rd Level, Chef's Ave., Filinvest Corporate City, Alabang
Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila

-------------------------------

I know, this is another late post. Sorry.

Shots were taken last 10.31, haha, now I'll take back what I've said and I should have said SUPER late post. Anyways, we ate here after we had our paintball game. The Sizzling Pepper Steak is a newly opened branch here in Alabang. The people behind Teriyaki Boy are the ones who did bring this Japanese style sizzler. Since I am a Teriyaki Boy fangal and never had tried it yet, we all then agreed to eat out.

We arrived at the restaurant at around 8pm. I like the cozy and well-lighted interior which is almost similar to Teriyaki Boy. Each dining table has air vent above to absorb the smoke from the steak. I think this is good because at least you'll have less exposure to the smoke that comes out from the food.

We were given an order slip and have to wrote down all our orders. Nice. This means less time to wait and no pressure hurrying to give out orders since no waiter standing in front of you waiting.

~air vent and cozy ambiance~

~yummy best seller~

This is what I got for myself Beef Papper Rice, their best-seller, reasonable at Ph165. The food is served half-cooked in an smoking hot sizzling plate with paper shield around it. Once served, you have to immediately turn and flap the slices of beef to cook the meat then pour the sauce, a grill-it-yourself style.

The service is good, servers are very courteous and attentive. The food is so tasty, you can be satisfied after one plate. We'll definitely be back.

“2012”

Directed by Roland Emmerich
Written by Emmerich and Harold Kloser
starring John Cusack
158 minutes

--------------------------------------------

Went to watch 2012 Movie last 11.16 at Festival Mall Alabang after work. I thought that only few people will watch the movie that day since its Monday, most are at work and want to go home early, but I was wrong. While on our way to buy tickets, I was shocked with the long line of people at the ticket booth. We went inside 15 minutes before the movie starts since we don't want to have a hassle of finding a good seat.

I arrived at the movie with high expectation because of how my friends gave nice feedback to it. And so I watched, then I got bored and tired. If you think of the cutting-edge CGI special-effects technology then the ticket is worth it because its really, really good. But the storyline were unbelievably bad, just can't be taken seriously. I mean, first, how does Jackson Curtis (John Cusack) manages to escape using a limo with every peril thrown at him, crazing and cracking behind him at Los Angeles streets and even manages to avoid giant fireballs? Then here comes the boyfriend of the ex-wife, who is both a surgeon and a rookie pilot who can flew a plane like a pro.
The film's scenes were even recycled over and over again and there are so many illogical scenes, like why does the Indian scientist and his family can still have a cellphone service even though a giant Tsunami is already hurling towards them and destroyed most major cities? How about the proximity of explosions and the massive eruption at the Yosemite? It should have killed them all, right?

Sucks!

Awful, bad acting, bad directing and bad scene.

Well, its an okay film if you haven't seen movie like this before. But if you did, its a waste of time and money.

OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE
Muntinlupa
Alabang Town Center
Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa
Philippines

----------------------------------
My friends and I ate here last 1o.31. Actually, dining here was not the first plan but since Lera hasn't tried eating at the Outback, we decided to pay a visit. One thing I like about the place is the casual and relaxing ambiance. And of course I love the food, lots of choices, generous serving portions and great service.

Here are what we ordered :

  • Ribs on a Barbie
Ribs smoked and grilled over the open flame. Served with Aussie Chips and coleslaw.

This was the first food that I've tasted way back and up until now, it never failed me. It has this fall of the bone tenderness with tasty sauce which perfectly blend together.

  • Alice Springs Chicken
Grilled chicken breast and bacon smothered with mushroom, melted cheese, with honey mustard sauce. Served with Aussie Chips.

The size is just right, i love the melted cheese. Very appealing for those who love white meat.

  • Typhoon Bloom
Basically, this is their version of onion rings. Served with mayonnaise horseradish sauce.

My friends ordered this one coz I'm not into onion ring, I tried it though. It has this distinct taste from ordinary onion rings, i guess its the Outback seasonings as per menu says that made the difference.

------------------------------
After the dinner and before going home, we just went outside and took shots from new SLR of Paulo.

I just got off a 2-day rest from work but I still feel exhausted. Last Thursday, I went to Hidalgo in Quiapo to buy a camera but unfortunately I didn't find the one I was looking for. Most of the cameras that I saw are DLSRs, sigh. I went to Quiapo because most of the people I know recommended the place for buying cameras. They said that stores have more cheaper price but I was really disappointed not finding what I want. The stores have limited point and shoot cameras, most are professional cameras and camera accessories.

I was roaming around the area for about 2 hours and left at around 5pm then decided to to to SM mall of Asia hoping that I could find it there. Guess what? I was not able to find one either grrr.

Up until this time, I am still checking on where I can buy the camera. Maybe I'll have to search for online retailer or seller like ebay.

Okay, I know that I have so many things to share since I didn't have any interesting posts for this past few weeks. As what I had written in my last post regarding pictures, well, its still on going, uploading and collating pictures, and want to share some of it.

Pictures are taken last Thursday which was November 05, 2009. I joined APAC NOC group, my co-workers, in their paintball game. I didn't have any picture with all gear and stuff because we were so excited to play and the administrator of the game won't allow us to wander around with a gun.

I really had so much fun. Thanks guys for the invite.

Been blogless (new word I guess) for 3 weeks and still can't find time to write a good post. I am so busy collating and uploading pictures this past few weeks. Doing uploads in 3 different websites, why? Well, I am just too afraid to lose my valued moments and I need to have at lease 2 sites for backups, plus I need to keep it all in order so I know when, where, who, what and how.... freak me.

Sorry for this.

Gonna update soon.
